TIRED OF CAREER POLITICIANS?
OUR MISSION
Restoring public trust through unwavering transparency and absolute accountability in the City of Sparks Council.
We champion the prudent management of taxpayer funds to ensure your voice always comes before political careers.
Key Campaign Issues
Fiscal Transparency
We will end the culture of mishandling taxpayer funds. Every dollar spent by the Council will be accounted for through public audits and real-time budget tracking for Sparks families. The City must promote from within and hire local talent that has the heart for our people without placing the burden of moving costs on our tax payers.
Infrastructure First
Ward 4 deserves reliable roads and smarter urban growth for Downtown Sparks. My campaign prioritizes high-impact infrastructure projects that directly improve the daily lives of Sparks residents. I will not support the haphazard "rezoning" of properties which negatively impact our quality of life.
Political Accountability
We are putting people before politics. No more career politicians serving special interests outside of our home town. I will represent the citizens of Ward 4 with integrity, transparency, and accessible leadership. Our residents work too hard for their money just for it to be thrown away on entities that don't fully appreciate our unique community.
My Nevada Roots Run Deep...
A native Nevadan raised in Fallon, I have called Sparks home since 1976. A proud graduate of Reed High, TMCC, and UNR, my career has been as varied as the community I serve—spanning experience in mortgages, appraisals, government technology, and election services, alongside years in local hospitality, from umpiring and serving cocktails to decorating cakes.
Service is a family tradition. My mother, aunt, and uncle are retired educators and administrators from the Washoe County School District; my father is a retired lab technician; and my brother is a Navy veteran. That dedication to community continues with my husband, a retired Washoe County Sheriff’s Deputy, and our children, who currently serve with the Sheriff’s Office and Reno Dispatch.
When I’m not working for our city, I cherish time with my grandchildren and stay involved in our vibrant local life—whether on the golf course or the bowling lanes in the Monday morning league at Coconut Bowl.
To uphold my promise of putting people before politics, I have chosen to remain independent of the primary political parties. My focus is not on party platforms, but on the residents of Ward 4.
